Play and learn at the same time! Tom’s Farm Market hands-on educational fall tour is both entertaining and attention-grabbing for the kids. Specifically aimed at pre-school through second grade, our tours run Monday through Friday starting October 3rd through October 28th.

No tours on Columbus Day or weekends. Reservations are required; we begin taking reservations the day after Labor Day. Call (847) 669-3421 to schedule your tour with us!

Basic Tours (Approx. 1 1/2 Hrs) $6.50/student

• Guided Tractor Trailer Ride to feild.
• Each child picks one small pumpkin & 3 gourds off vine (weather permitting)
• Educational Tour of Animals

Experience (10-15 minutes):

• Straw Maze
• Straw Mound
• Corn Maze

Educational Grains/Harvest Talk (Approx. 15 minutes):

• Hands on tour of grains
• Educational harvesting talk geared to 1st and 2nd graders
• Learn how farming relates to everyday products & food

Indoor Picnic Facilities:

By reservation only. Donut & Apple Cider Snack are available for a nominal fee. Please do not include lunch time as part of your tour time. Plan for extra time for lunch before or after your scheduled tour.
